Poorly made for Athletic

The reviews were good and I decided to try these Ryka shoes. I wanted to like them but when I received them I immediately noticed the poor quality (see photo). There are many black pen marks on the gray rubber and red scuffs on the bottom. The gray rubber also looked very sloppy (uneven and weird creases on both shoes). Tried them on, they were comfortable but nothing special. 70€ is definitely not worth it.

A bit long and baggy

I usually wear size 8 clothes that are very baggy, but sometimes I get by with baggy sizes, but not often. They fit the width exactly so they are wide apart but they were too long so I had to send them back. I thought they were half a size larger than what I ordered. I sent them back and am considering trying a half size down to see if it works for me. Other than that they were very comfortable straight away and I wish they would work.

Is the width a bit too big?

They are so soft and comfortable and look great but the shoes hit my ankle at a weird angle so I had to return them. Also, the width here seems a little too wide compared to other shoes I've tried. It could just be my weird feet from having to get rid of bursitis. These shoes are so beautiful, but unfortunately not for me. Don't buy them if you don't like bigger shoes - the top of the shoe rubs against my bone and it's awful.

Great lightweight shoe

As recommended by other reviews, since I ordered a size up I went down a half size but could probably go a full size down. If you don't want to wear socks or thin socks, this might be worth considering. I got this shoe for light training or walking and it was perfect. Very convenient right out of the box with no break-in period required. I took nature walks (trails, not mountaineering) and walked on a treadmill or wore weight-lifting clothes. These shoes were amazing for everyone. I have a…

They wear out quickly.

I bought these shoes after reading all the reviews about how comfortable they are. They are definitely where I had them first. Excellent arch support, perfect fit. I run/walk 6-8 miles daily on paved bike paths. I bought them in June, the bottom is very worn and not holding up (I don't drag my feet), the arch support is gone and the shoe has stretched and become very uncomfortable. It's a shame. Right out of the box they were fantastic. I definitely recommend them for ease of use. I don't…

Great shoes to be on your feet all day.

I can't put into words how much I love these shoes. They had arch support right out of the box and that only made them more comfortable. The more I wear them, the better they conform to my feet without sacrificing great arch support. I got them when I was a CMA in an ambulance. I was up for at least 7-8 hours. It has helped me get through the day without hurting my feet. They feel secure and have no slack, but are comfortable and breathable. I swear by her and recommend her to anyone who hears…
