I bought it based on the reviews and the fact that I already had batteries and a charger from this brand. It replaced an earlier Ryobi model that had dropped out early. We usually think of other brands as top brands, yellow brand, red stripe, but this ryobi tool had all the characteristics of great players and impressive power, I mean you need to handle the button more easily as it works like a high power accelerator. I am satisfied and will be adding to my Ryobi tools as they all use the same battery.

I have over 30 Ryobi One tools and this is the first time I've worn out a tool in a short amount of time. This device is less than 2 months old; it overheated and started smoking from the engine vents while drilling 1/2" holes in the cinder block (not a very heavy load).
