There were sporadic errors that could become expensive

Everything worked perfectly for the first few months. It connects to your computer with no hiccups and loads fairly quickly. However, since about 2 weeks about 1 in 300 or 400 photos uploaded is corrupted. This is especially true for RAW files. This is not my card as I have tried several and can go back and re-download the corrupted file and it works fine. The problem is that the corruption doesn't show up until I sort the images and preview them from the RAW data in Lightroom. If it takes me a

Recommend memory card accessories

So that's one of the times I write a review because such good service justifies it. I ordered this for a CF card reader for an older device that doesn't use SD cards. The first one I got didn't recognize the CF card. I went to their support site and found that there are many drivers for different devices but not mine. I found out (via email/phone) that there are no drivers or anything on their website as it is a plug and play device. After a letter and a phone call, a replacement was on the…

This was my last Sabrent card reader purchase

This is my second Sabrent USB card reader. The older model failed with the built-in USB cable, and this newer model that replaced it didn't even work out of the box. Using Win32DiskImager or Etcher to write some Raspberry Pi microSD cards on Windows 7 and Windows 10 computers fails completely. It failed to stop recording in any configuration - even when using a microSD to SD adapter and SD slot.
