Used these in a set of saddlebags on a 2011 road slip and they work great and are very reliable. They are identical to Harley and much cheaper.

Removing the pouches took longer than replacing old design clips and installing them. Solid details and they make the bags more reliable than before.

Easy installation by removing the plates and then removing and replacing the clips from the mounting sleeve. The knobs screw in conveniently and the washer has detents when tightened so you'll feel a click when it's tight. The bags don't go anywhere.

I dropped a set of bags driving down the interstate with the stock Harley clip - a very expensive mistake. Do yourself a favor if you Buying those stock charlie clips are much better and will keep you from losing your saddlebag and stuff inside

Much stronger than what came out and at a reasonable price. This design is way better than finger twist grips. It's much easier to get addicted. Pockets feel a lot safer. You can also use elastics for pockets while taking them off. Hold up great for the little abuse I've had with them so far, but the bags have been put on and taken off over a dozen times with no issues with the panels or threads on the handles.
