Safavieh Kora Quatrefoil Flush Mount Light, Gold - 15 inch Review

This lantern has a nice aesthetic. However, the quality is quite low. The metal has scratches all over the mount and the center bar was off center so the diffuser didn't fit properly on the base. I had to flip the center bar a bit to get the cone to lay flat (somewhat). Disappointed as I expected better quality for €100.

The biggest surprise was that the gold in the photos looks more like foil than the super smooth surface. However, this did not bother me. Would give it 5 stars except the diffuser part (for lack of a better term for the round plastic part that goes on last) was somehow damaged. It was neatly packaged in cardboard and foam, but when I took it out I noticed a small gap in the middle where the knob fitted. You can only see it if you stand directly under the instrument. This light is basically what I was looking for in our master bathroom, but it has a few minor imperfections that make it difficult to give it five stars. The elements they describe as part of the 'handmade' light are actually just scuffs and scratches to give the illusion of a gold leaf finish.
