I was interested in this product because I wanted to draw circles without leaving a hole in the middle like it a conventional compass would do. The concept of this compass is good, but unfortunately the quality leaves a lot to be desired. The instructions are easy to understand, but I couldn't make small circles because the rotator didn't make a full circle. It stuck about 2/3 of the way no matter what size circle I tried to draw. Overpriced piece of plastic

This product reminds me of those little freebies that supply companies give away. They could be sold for 50 cents each. And for forwarding, they probably could have put it in an ordinary envelope with a first-class stamp. The company I bought it from overcharged me and overdid the box and packing material. Every school should use this compass!

I was surprised when I got my daughter's compass and found basically the same old design with a cheap little pencil and a metal tip perfect for hitting an annoying kid at the nearest desk . There were other models that claimed various pencils, pens, etc. could be attached to it, while others required small pencil leads of a specific size.
