I bought the universal package. All three FIDs are heavy duty, as is the connecting tube. Good stainless steel. Should hold up well. The tips vary slightly from almost too pointed to nicely rounded. I can slightly round the tip of the sharpest so it doesn't stick to the threads. Maybe yes (not used yet)

I ordered the wrong size and the seller sent me the correct size for free! I mean what can you say about that? I use paracord on a few of my projects and it makes the tricky process of inserting another cord between tight knots super easy. Excellent goods. The quality and durability are undeniable, as is the outstanding customer service making your purchase worth the time spent. Highly recommended.

Love this. I'm just starting to do some paracord projects and I'm tired of using chopsticks. I really like the hollow fida. It replaces chopsticks, but I don't have to be so patient. I just tuck the cord into the trough and then remove the fixation and the cord is on the other side, not like I used to when I had to slowly pull the cane out with the cord pulled up on the cane to keep the hole from closing up on the cord. It really made my newbie job a lot easier.
