These shoes are amazing!

I wore them for the first time on the Haiku Staircase in Oahu and they were incredibly comfortable! They didn't need to be broken at all. I ran 10.5 miles and my legs didn't hurt at the end. They have a nice, sleek design and aren't bulky like most running shoes. I highly recommend.

I LOVE Solomon! in shoes

I have lived in Colorado for 10 years and am an avid hiker and cross-country runner. In the last 6 years I have moved to Salomons. I don't wear any other shoes anymore! The trail running shoe has great traction on the hiking surface and even on hikes over 10 miles my feet still feel like they are on clouds! The ONLY reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because that damn piece of plastic used to hold the shoe tight and secure breaks. I have the 8th pair and every pair had an issue with the clipโ€ฆ

They feel like heaven on my feet and are worth every single one.

They feel like heaven on my feet and are worth every penny! I bought these for the upcoming Spartan race and have already worn them on the trails to break them in but to be honest they don't need breaking in. They are very light and don't absorb water like I thought after accidentally stepping in the creek. I climbed the muddy bank like it was my job and by the end of the day my feet felt as good as they did when I put my shoes on in the morning. My first Salomon purchase but definitely not the

Excellent hold! Good value for money.

I tried these shoes on in the store and they were too big for me. The saleswoman told me that they had to fit like this. I ordered them from Amazon because I found them โ‚ฌ30 cheaper here. After the first use I still find them a bit big. I usually wear a size 8, but next time I'll probably go down a half size. I also checked the UK size which is 6.5 and European size 40. Usually the US size is 8 in UK 5.5 and 38-39 in Europe. So they work a little more than expected, but that's not a problem. Ifโ€ฆ

Brilliant! Top quality and fit.

I wear standard size 8 shoes but need a wide toe box and am finding comfortable shoes to wear when walking on pebbles/sand/thallus etc in the hot Southern California climate Challenge. I tried on 2 Salomon running shoes, Xero 'Minimalist Barefoot' hiking shoes, Merrill boots, a pair of Oboz Sawtooths and through the Revain wardrobe (I love the Revain wardrobe!) I tried on 5 pairs of KEEN hiking shoes. I ended up buying a Saloman. at 8.5. and love her. They are so well made out of lightweightโ€ฆ

narrow shoes with plenty of room for toes.

I'm not a trail runner, just a hiker. But I have a moderately narrow heel and midfoot and high arch. While my fingers are not narrow and have become sensitive to small or low toe boxes over the years. Most shoes don't feel supportive and like the pain support isn't quite where it should be. These shoes are perfect. I ordered 7.5 and am glad I did. I can often fit a generous 6.5, but I usually wear a medium size 7. I highly recommend ordering a half size up to have enough toe room in this narrow

Good shoes, but dangerous in some situations. Tread needs improvement

I loved them so I'm a little disappointed that I won't be buying them again. I needed shoes with a lot more tread than normal shoes that I could use on muddy trails, crossing streams, walking on slippery wooden bridges in the rain, etc. I'm from Oregon so it's usually wet! I've also tested them on several 40-mile hikes. They are great in the following ways: Looks amazing, black goes with everything and doesn't look dirty unless it's covered in mud. The laces are light and fast. The weight isโ€ฆ
