I loved these shoes so much I immediately put them on for a walk. I realized I had to break them in, so I just drove a few miles. This is my second pair of these shoes. I had my first pair 4 years ago. The only reason I had to buy a new pair was because I accidentally left them outside when it was snowing. The spike-like protrusion on the bottom didn't wear out on me like the other reviewer did. She may have worn them on flat concrete or sidewalk for too long.
