The cloak is much longer in the front than the old plastic cloak I bought at the cosmetics store and the buttons at the neck are a really good thing because it is fits my big neck husband and also my slim one. RUN! This cape seems very nice and long and that's all I can say positively about it. Here's a haiku to sum it up: You're a bad little cloak your salesman take my money put the pieces together so wrong. Overall it's TERRIBLE! So either buy two or choose which side you want to protect from flying hair as it only covers the front or back. We got this to try and limit the little hairs that get into our clothes and do a spiky, itchy, stinging dance because freshly cut hair is like tiny needles sticking into you. We cut our hair at home. (Actually she cuts it off---I give up my head, sit down and try not to flinch too much.) It was a big improvement. Nice nylon webbing, not stiff. As others have pointed out, the back is shorter. We had no problems with that. Hair only falls to the floor if you sit down a little. Nobody can get to your clothes. The hair falls slightly from the cape. The neck clasps are a bit cheap but work well. Good product and good quality.

Love the comfortable neckline, you can go up or down and it's not so tight my boys choke. It's waterproof so wet hair just falls off. It is light and still keeps you warm. I cut my boys hair at home and honestly they complain about how hot it is under that cape. I placed them by running a small fan behind them. I would recommend this cape to everyone - professionals and beginners in the hairdressing trade. Well worth it and great price.
