The quality of the shoes is excellent - my daughter loves them compared to the salt water sandals which are flat with no arch support or padding. I would say these shoes are true to size and maybe even a bit big.

These are very nice sandals but the most important thing is that my daughter is very comfortable in them. They are not flat and rigid.

I'm a big fan of nautical sandals and this is the first time this has happened to me. My daughter hasn't worn these sandals in a month and the paint is already peeling. I wish I could return them.

When I first ordered them I thought they were probably a fake seawater brand, but luckily they aren't! The sandals are the same as the ones you buy at the mall for $40. The only thing I recommend is to go to the mall in person so you know what size to buy and just order the size up half price on Amazon.

An old time favourite! Daughter has worn this brand since she was a baby and with her narrow foot they work like a charm! I think she will wear this brand forever as long as I can find her size!

I've been buying these shoes for my daughter for 3 years. We have them in sizes 5-10. These are the only sandals that fit her narrow feet. They're durable, comfortable, and hold up great! I justified the cost because I figured my next daughter would wear them. Unfortunately, her legs are too wide to fit comfortably. I would still recommend them if your child has narrow or normal feet. you are so cute Red goes with everything.

I love these sandals and more importantly my picky 10 year old loves them too! Your foot is just over 8 1/2 inches and is of regular width (not narrow). Size 3 for big kids is perfect with plenty of room to grow. They have soft, thick soles and their favorite bright red color! It may not be an authentic brand (packaging says Made in China) and shoes DO NOT say USA. Delivery was very fast! UPDATE - It's been almost a year and these sandals still fit and still look great after a lot of hard play!

Hoy's Saltwater Sandles have been bought for two generations. Some wore several summer seasons, no problem. However, they came out of the box with worn leather and cracks in places. I don't think they are actually made by the company. The quality is like nothing I came across when I bought them. I think it might be fake. DO NOT buy Hoy/Salt Water Sandles from this company.
