Cheap junk: CB and talkback radios

A very cheaply made antenna, did not improve reception compared to the regular rubber duck. I returned but they said they never got a refund so they charged me again. Definitely don't buy it

This antenna works great with my Yaesu FT-1D

This antenna works great with my Yaesu FT-1D. It is far superior to the standard rubber duck antenna. Highly recommended. I didn't give it 5 stars because the telescoping sections need a tighter mechanical fit. He looks a little wobbly. But it still works well so great value for money.

Good for backup antenna

This antenna is very good but I've tried it on several portables of different brands and it does its job of receiving transmissions but during the transmission on all brands my listeners only receive 80 percent of the transmission from me, as said. It's a good fallback, but I chose a different telescopic antenna and it's much better and you can put a rubber ducky on it so you don't have to use the telescope all the time.

Excellent antenna, if a bit fragile

I purchased this "TWAYRDIO UHF/VHF 144/430 MHz SAM-Male Ham Radio Transceiver Telescopic Antenna 35-inch High Gain Extendable" from Revain and it was delivered on August 15, 2019. I haven't been paid. to review this product, nor have I received any discount or other reward for doing so. Build quality seems good and fits my Icom ID-51+ perfectly. The design of these types of antennas means the top can get a bit fragile, but they've engineered this antenna to be quite thick when folded to fit in…
