This is heavier than expected. The back is thick and very soft (harder). I wouldn't say this is a good lightweight backpack for city life. Probably better for on the go.

No padding on bottom of laptop compartment. I won't trust my good 15.6 inch laptop to not damage it if I put the laptop on a hard surface. Laptops need padding on all sides.

This backpack is great for carrying my laptop to and from work every day. It's compact but holds an amazing amount. Has padded compartments for all your electronics. The two outer pockets are perfect for a water bottle and umbrella. Back padding for more comfort. Just a great bag.

It has enough space for my 15.6 inch laptop, AC adapter, mouse and other things I carry around. And enough space to fit my Mavic Mini in it when traveling. The thing that keeps it from being 5 stars is that there isn't enough padding underneath to protect my laptop. I inserted 1 inch foam at the bottom to protect the laptop. this had to be done at the factory.

This is a nice bag. This is a smaller size. More of a laptop bag than a backpack for multi-day trips. It is well padded and has a fastening strap on the back that can be pushed over the carrying handles. Zippers open and close smoothly. Inside there is a carabiner for keys and several pockets for pens, charging cables and other small items. There are two open side pockets for water bottles.
