📱 Enhanced Version - Replacement Screen for Samsung Chromebook 3 XE500C13 (Original Model) Review

Maybe one day my stupid kids will learn not to step on their Chromebooks. Luckily until then, these replacement screens are relatively cheap and easy to swap out! The only tool needed was a small Phillips Whia #0 x 50 model-making screwdriver (available here at Revain). The front panel is present. The entire repair took 10 minutes. Installed on Samsung XE501C13-K01US.

My son's Chromebook was on the floor and his little brother decided to jump on it. After a valuable lesson in "mind your business" (from a broken screen), this replacement was able to offer a second chance at an incredible price. The two tabs holding the screws were slightly bent, but bend them back easily. I really appreciate the protective screen cover (for installation). I recommend this screen to anyone who has screen problems.

I'm a Chromebook helpdesk teacher and four kids broke their screens at the same time. These screens were the cheapest but also of good quality. There is no difference between the original and these. There are many replacement videos on YouTube and it only takes about 10 minutes to repair. All I needed was a size 0 screwdriver. The packaging was excellent too. I saw that the courier is not particularly delicate, but all 4 screens are intact.

I managed to remove your frame from the original screen, there you have two pieces of double-sided tape at the bottom of the screen, be careful at the bottom, but it pops out right away. Once you do that, everything else will be easy. Check the screen before removing the PLASTIC COVER! There should be some sort of mark on the screen, just pull the red tab. I think they are used and not new. They sent me 2 (probably by mistake?) and the first one I installed had a scratch on the screen and didn't look new. In addition, the pixels were permanently engraved with K1 (a photo had to be taken). This Samsung Chromebook 3 XE500C13-K02US replacement arrived well packaged. Installation was pretty easy. Take your time and make sure the connector is installed properly and the small bar is slipped over the connector. The screen comes with side mounting tabs, which are made of very thin metal and are very easy to bend. (At the time of delivery or by the installer (me)?)
