- Very good quality screen. With appropriate content on YouTube, the screen is simply mesmerizing. Unreal sound. I have a Galaxy S20+ and I wondered how it was possible to make such a high-quality sound in the phone's speakers, now I'm even more surprised how it was possible to make such a loud, high-quality, surround sound on a tablet?! As if a stereo system is playing: there are even lows. Moreover, when the volume is increased up to the maximum, the sound does not get worse. Dolby Atmos does its job.
- Some say that the lack of a stylus is a minus. As the saying goes: "not a bug, but a feature." With a stylus there is another device - S6 - it is more expensive.
- Sturdy and thin aluminum case, good assembly, a fairly capacious battery, an excellent bright Amoled screen, loud and clear speakers (as many as 4 pieces) - more than enough for any movie Fresh Android 10 out of the box. At the start, the tablet is fast and productive, let's see what happens in six months
- The screen at a brightness of less than 40% (i. E. at home almost always) wildly Shimit, this hurts the eyes. At an acute angle goes rainbow stains There is no headphone jack, which many people point out as a drawback. Although the place in the case is full. A USB C-3.5 adapter is included, but the sound through it is extremely annoying - flat and inexpressive. The manufacturer supplied good speakers, but at home you often have to use headphones, and for this I have very good expensive "ears" like AT1000. Here all their quality disappears! And wireless ears to them as to the moon We already wrote that Samsung does not bother with the sound path of its smartphones, it turns out, and the new tablet is there too. But bedside viewing-wiretapping is one of its main purposes. For now, I will have to continue listening to music on my already old smartphone with a dedicated DAC and amplifier. It's a pity - videos and concerts from YouTube look much better on a large tablet screen Pretty average cameras, in dim light they make noise and distort colors. At the same time, the main camera does not have a flash, which is already out of the question. The front camera would be better placed on the wide side for better video quality (as already done in the Tab S6 / S7) Weak complete charging, only 15 watts, charging from it for 4 hours is a bit too much for any scenario of using the tablet
- The first tablet I bought myself was a tablet from Blackview, the model was called Blackview Tab 8 - I ordered it through the well-known Chinese online store, and returned it back because I was incredibly annoyed by missed clicks, wild brakes, and where the first one adds up to second, phantom clicks are born there - when, due to braking, the system does not immediately show you the result of pressing, you press again, and the system, having slowed down, gives you the result of both clicks at once. Here's the exact same issue now present in 2022 on the Galaxy Tab s5e. It has become as stupid and slow as the exclusively Chinese Blackview Tab 8, exactly the same problems with pressing appeared, so the tablet is automatically dismissed as a tool for work, and I officially declare that this tablet is recommended for purchase only as a gift to grandparents, and only if they are not fundamental to such problems of working with the interface.
- Android, face unlock, type c power. good florist. maybe for someone this is a plus, but you can call from it. well, and the samsung disk mode (xs who needs a PC in a multimedia device now, buy a laptop)
- No headphone jack. The screen is very strange, although it is an amoled with a good colorizer, the animation itself is late, I scroll through the right side of the screen, and the left one is late, maybe this is due to the frequent shim in the display itself and this effect is simply terrible. The interface is just terrible, samsung couldn't properly translate their interface from phones to a larger screen and adapt it. Management of the entire operating system is most often located somewhere in the middle, this applies to both third-party applications (FB and Facebook, their news feed in the center) and stock applications. Let's take the settings application, the category of different items is located in the very center of the screen instead of spreading it on the right on the iPad, and on the left in a slightly larger window, place the items of this subcategory itself, but no, you don’t have to constantly climb into the category itself and exit it, but the most the stupid thing they left is "the ability to control with one finger" from the phone, I DON'T NEED TO SEE A BIG "SETTINGS" SIGN IN THE FLOOR OF THE SCREEN, I KNOW WHERE I AM, it works on mobile where the thumb cannot reach the top (which cuts down on the functionality of big screens and capacity on it content), there is a big screen that you will control 100% with two fingers on the sides, but you are offered control in the center, or below the center, since this is the same settings application, mb you forgot. The same applies to management in general, the three main buttons back, home and multitasking from the bottom in the center, which is inconvenient, but in new versions they can be moved, but this is another problem. The old OS, in my version it is impossible to move the buttons to the right or left side of the screen, maybe the old OS (although it has been on the same fold and others for a long time). Finding the division of applications into two windows was extremely problematic and inconvenient, and changing their size is met with not beautiful animation with constant black screens of the applications themselves. And the prejudiced claim itself, on YouTube from Google you can’t expand the video in full screen with a pinch of your finger, but on the iPad you can! And the inability to remove unnecessary software from Samsung !
- Stylish Beautiful Easy Multitask Productive Thin bezels Excellent screen (resolution, color reproduction, brightness) The sound is great (loud and voluminous) Works long enough Convenient to play games Everything pulls
- It heats up normally while gaming. Takes a long time to charge I would not say that it holds for two days straight if you play on it) Problems with the 5 hertz network module, be sure to google it on the Internet, everything is described in detail
- Display! Correct color temperature and excellent viewing angles! Some color fades but can be forgiven. The sound is great! Weight, design.
- The tablet is weak in hardware. Interfaces are not as fluid, especially after an iPad. Out of the box, it cannot open RAWs from some cameras (Olympus - yes. Sony - no) Does not see built-in previews. I'm trying to render them myself, which is impossible, the files are too big. Can't open the file itself. Seller's version: the tablet does not know how to shoot in RAW, and therefore is not trained to open it. Found the program RawVision. Simple, has not been ated since the age of 18, but performs the task. At the same time, it turned out that it was she who is the only viewer for android tablets (not shooting in raw), showing large RAW previews without cropping to a square, and even with the ability to choose their size. The effect of "jelly" when scrolling. The effect is very noticeable and personally bothers me. Visible in both orientations, it just appears differently: skewed or flattened. You can scroll in a special way with jerks, then the effect is compensated by braking and is invisible. Or vice versa, scroll slowly. On occasion, I twisted the screen of a more powerful Samsung Tab 7+ in the cabin. You can pull it so that the jelly is visible, but it is barely noticeable. WiFi is really not a strong point of the device. The antenna cannot be shielded by hand. It clings very slowly compared to the nimble smart sony 5ii. The PWM at the screen is significant, but this is probably the case for all Samsungs with Amoled, at least the wife's S20 is the same. But my Sony PWM is much better. 4/64 - not enough. Both.
- Maybe the screen is everything
- Performance/performance The rest is in the comments.
- Good battery The screen is bright, juicy, super amoled in a word. Really good external sound from AKG (4 speakers) Very light and thin
- A faster processor is not critical for me, but RAM could be added. Raging soft navigation buttons. Unlocking the screen - the face does not see, but go find a tiny button for reading your finger on the side face.
- Thin frames. Lightweight compact. Very good running time. Good sound. Price. Performance. Good cameras.
- Based nitpicking on the screen. It has quite bright colors as on s4, but at the same time, it strains the eyes more than s4. At the same time, ipad air is much more pleasing to the eye than s5e. Huawei m5 on Ips is also more pleasing to the eye than s5e. The main camera is not bad, but a little worse than s4, and the front one is much worse than s4. No Gorilla Glass 5, unlike the s4.
- It's really light and feels great in the hand. Gorgeous Super AMOLED. I really liked the speakers. Open system. Place for sim card and sd card.
- The processor is weak or not fully completed OSes. There are blunts and lags not peculiar to iPads. The stylus is missing in DEX mode. RAM is not enough, 6GB would be just right. Didn't find any other cons.
