Smells like lemongrass indeed. The scent is refreshingly strong at first and then wears off a bit, but still smells great in the mask. High quality oil, a little thinner than some but still very good. 10.97 for a 2 ounce bottle is a lot. Except I love it so much that I use it more than I should.

I'm happy with the smell - smells great - but not thrilled with the effectiveness of the shaving oil. I thought a lot better about American Crew's product, which appears to be discontinued. I don't think that's a substitute. Although it's very oily (I have to lather my hands after applying and before picking up the razor), it doesn't lubricate the blade very well and after shaving I can feel the sting of the razor; Note that before I shave I use oil and then shaving cream, so it's not just oil.

Unfortunately although I like the smell of the oil it is so thick it sticks to my Phillips/Norelco Series 9000 razor that the Phillips/ Norelco cleaner doesn't work and I have to disassemble, wash and blow dry my shaving heads to get all the stuck hair strands out. Excuse me.

This article is a real bargain. I have tried other shaving oils in the past and have been disappointed. This one really works. I wash my face with mild soap, rinse, squeeze a tiny drop of oil in my palm, rub my beard, and then apply shaving cream to it. I shave easily, without scratches and cuts, even with multiple passes, which I need because my beard grows in all directions. I purchased this item after realizing how much I was spending per ounce of Ionic Preshave Oil. On an ounce-per-ounce basis, this is the cheapest option. In terms of quality, using it as a preshave oil works incredibly well, if not better than the more expensive options. The smell is excellent. Not too strong and pleasant on the nose. Definitely not too perfumed. This will be my new pre-shave oil.

Pre-Shave Conditioner is available in many variants. For me this was a more economical solution than others and it was a good choice for me. I haven't had any cuts from shaving and after about a month of use I feel my skin has been primed and I get a lot less razor burn. I will continue to use this lotion and think it does exactly what it is supposed to do at a reasonable price!

The thing works great. I use just a few swipes and the razor glides so easily over my skin. I use a razor so there's a much higher chance of cutting myself, but this greatly reduces that chance. Since using it, I rarely blame myself, and when I do, it's because I shave too quickly.
