Excellent memory card from Sony

I have had this memory card for over 10 years (purchased in 2004) and it has lived up to all expectations. Fast, reliable, worked great with a Sony digital camera. Highly recommended.

Great low cost solution

This memory card is solid and perfect for my Sony 5.1 Megapixel Cybershot DSC-P93A. My camera can store the following number of images: 5MP = 98, 3MP = 158, 1MP = 380, VGA = 1520. This is far more than you can get on the card that came with the camera (32MB). The prices for this item vary greatly. Not knowing any better, I bought three of these cards the week I bought my camera; $57, $47, and $37, respectively. Be sure to rate the shop before you buy.

PRO and MagiGate explained!

I read the reviews and was surprised by the misinformed claims they contained. First, Memory Stick Pro is a newer format than a regular memory card that differs in access time and overall capacity. Regular memory cards are limited to 128MB and are slower than the Pro version, which takes up to 2GB. Memorystick Select consists of 2 memory cards of 128 MB, which are combined into one and separated by a switch. The reason for this was to increase the memory card limit, but it has the disadvantage…

It works fine with no problems!

This gives me about 100 pictures with my Sony DSC-F717 digital camera. I've heard from a few people who have had trouble using this "blue" SanDisk Memory Stick Pro with some card readers, but I'm not sure how serious this problem is. I've always used mine with a SanDisk 8-in-1 USB 2.0 High Speed Reader and never had a problem with it.
