💾 Enhance Your Storage Capacity with Sandisk Memory Stick Duo Adapter Review

I used this in combination with a SD and Micro SD 2GB adapter for an older Sony DSC-P92 (circa 2002/3), which I bought for about $3 as a gesture of goodwill. I also bought a SANOXY® Dual MicroSD Adapter for MS PRO DUO in which I put a 2GB Micro SD and plugged this adapter into the Sandisk Adapter. Let the camera format the card and everything will work fine. Breathing new life into an old Sony camera.

My old Sony camera is a workhouse that has taken thousands of pictures. The only downside is that the dual camera chip requires a special adapter to upload images to my laptop. I always lose those little adapters, but the Sandisk model works just as well as the Sony brand models. I bought a pair just in case. It's a much cheaper alternative and reads media with no issues. The Sony camera has trouble recognizing large amounts of memory. Works well for still images, but not at all for movies. There is a conflict between the hard drive format (or 8GB of storage) required by a 15 year old Sony Cyber-shot camera and the format offered on the memory card. this. Sandisk is not backward compatible. Pooh! Technologies evolve, the camera doesn't change.

I bought this for my PSP memory cards as it would be inconvenient to use the PSP as a memory card reader every time I need to add/remove something and it fits display with a bonus: It's faster than a regular USB transfer as it's not limited to the PSP CPU bus. But the one I bought didn't come with an M2 to Pro Duo adapter as stated in the product description. but I wouldn't use it anyway. I have noticed that the price of this product can vary, that's why I bought it for only 47 cents ! (Shipping was of course several times more expensive, but it was still worth it). So if you're wondering if this adapter actually works, I can tell you mine worked with no problems.
