Excellent addition to home theater setup

Based on my experience with this decoder, I highly recommend it to any electronics enthusiast looking to bring their home audio to the next level. The optical and coaxial inputs provide a clear and crisp sound, and the compact design allows for easy integration into any setup. Excellent basic DAC

I've used a DAC and a JDS Labs ODAC and an O2 amp for the last 5 or 6 years to power a Bose Quiet Comfort 25 at work and a Beyerdynamic DT880 (250 ohms) to power your home - a great setup. Now I use DROP Senn HD-6XX, SMSL SanSkrit 10th DAC and SMSL SP200 THX 888 AMP Amplifier. It was a good move for me. I was happy with the JDS set but can't stop checking out the Audio Science Review website so you know. SanSkrit and SP200 are an audible upgrade.

Pros
  • receiver and amp
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
