Noisy preamps and disappointing sound

I bought an older version that is no longer included with Revain. You may have set it but you can see the version I bought in the 4th photo with 2 gun mics mounted on each side and 3 control knobs + many more switches on the interface. bottom line. I never use it. The audio is really bad. The controls degrade the sound when you try to clean it up with pads and other gain/record controls. Honestly, it's a great idea and a great price, but the product just didn't deliver reliable sound quality…
