Sargent Art 90 3016 20X30 Inch Canvas Review

This was not what I expected and the pictures don't do it justice! This is a thin piece of canvas that will eventually need to be framed (which I tried to avoid). Not worth sending back, so maybe it's needed or not, not sure yet.

The product photos have an image of the canvas with wrapped frame - I have not read the description carefully which says it is chipboard. I expected it to match the photo. I have to return it as there is no way to hang it on the wall without a frame. Makes it unusable for me. I have a deadline for this project so now I have to take the risk of getting the canvas in person during this Covid wave. Ick.2 stars because the item arrived on time and undamaged.

I bought this canvas board for oil painting. There was either clear glue or some other clear material splattered on the canvas, which floated up after my underpainting dried. I've tried spot cleaning and scraping but it didn't work. The canvas could not be returned nor used. I will never buy Sargent art plaques again. I bought two in one order, the other had small stains as well, I sanded and primed the canvas now that I know what can go wrong. Hopefully it won't do the same. The size I…
