Color is more orange than brick red. The lid is scratched. The back is soft. In general, they did their job. The tips of the spiky feathers continue to stick out.

The colors are more muted and blurred than in the photo. As such, it lacks the sharp contrast of geometric design I was hoping for. Also agree with other reviews that this is a scratchy pillow. I knew this because kilim doesn't have the velvety texture of a rug. However, this weave is very coarse, definitely not a piece of real kilim rug.

Really liked the look of the pillow and was impressed by how strong it was - definitely not fragile. However, the fabric on the front scratches. So if you want people to put their face or bare skin on it, I would think twice. Update: Has anyone asked for an update for this throw pillow? Who can know. But I did want to say that this pillow is so scratched it's practically unusable and I'll probably get rid of it. I'm mad at the pillow, but more generally, am I mad at myself for letting myself be
