Absolutely perfect!

My usual budget for running shoes is $85 and they last less than a year. This shoe was a real upgrade. Spacious, well ventilated and durable construction. I have a very physical job and I'm always on my feet. If you have bad bows you'll need to add support, but even with that they're worth every penny.

Pros
  • Great shoes. Very well made and very comfortable. All this plus Made in America! win win.
Cons
  • Toe is too narrow

Great fit! : My review

These are his everyday shoes and he says they are very comfortable. It fits well in every way. These shoes are also attractive. He likes velcro instead of laces because it's so easy to put on and take off.

Pros
  • I am diabetic and this really met my needs!
Cons
  • Untenable

Very comfortable and true to size.

I bought these shoes for my 93 year old father and they fit him perfectly. He finds it difficult to walk, but says the shoes are very comfortable and make him feel stable.

Pros
  • It's expensive but seems like a great shoe. And Made in the USA struck a deal!
Cons
  • Uncomfortable fit

Worth the money in my opinion

My son has very wide feet and suffers from arthrogryposis so he cannot reach his foot to tie his shoelaces. These shoes are perfect for him.

Pros
  • My husband loves his shoes. However expensive.
Cons
  • Good size and comfortable but heavy.

The best shoes exist and are made right here in the USA!

I was very disappointed in a pair of "Big Name" sneakers I bought from a sporting goods store less than nine months ago. The better half bought two pairs of SAS shoes; now it was my turn. Shoes fit and walk well (I walk 5+ miles daily). I'm hoping to wear them for a few years before buying another pair, at least based on my wife's experience. So far very happy with the quality and comfort.

Pros
  • Your local store sells half sizes.
Cons
  • Not enough cushioning

Excellent, my verdict - my new review

Super nice and comfortable. They were a gift to my 85 year old father. He was so lucky to have a nice pair of what looked like running shoes.

Pros
  • These shoes work well and I like them.
Cons
  • hard to crack

Not made in the USA in my opinion

The photo showed that the shoes were made in the USA. It was an old photo, they are now made in the USA by Global Materials. This is not made in the USA. Dissatisfied. Also, the purchase is complicated, the purchase will sign you up for an Amazon membership for about $15 per month.

Pros
  • SAS shoes are by far the most comfortable shoes I own. This makes my third pair in the same style.
Cons
  • Doesn't offer torsional support to the best hiking shoes.

The quality has dropped by one level.

Have had two pairs for three years and wear them almost every day. Perfect fit, super comfortable, looks great, very happy with it. My podiatrist recommended a replacement so I ordered them in the same style and size. Unfortunately not the same quality or comfort. The upper is not that durable and the insole causes discomfort in the metatarsal bones. I will be replacing the insoles in my old shoes and giving these away. Shame about SAS.

Pros
  • I have a long and narrow foot. VERY hard to find your size. It was perfect!
Cons
  • Poor customer service from the manufacturer
