Physical upgrade of old cables

They are durable and better than flimsy cheap plastic cables with no clamps. They sit tight and don't kink. They're a bit long for a close connection, but that helps with more distant drives. After 3 weeks all my hard drive problems are gone and never come back. together!

Pros
  • Worth your money
Cons
  • Neutral

Chinese quality at its finest

One of them didn't work right away after packing and the other one seemed to fail after a month. It's made in China so I'm not surprised. I'm just disappointed that I can't find a good version of it that was literally made by someone else.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • All ok

UDMA CRC errors for cables and links

I received 17 UDMA CRC errors in about 2 days with this cable. (A UDMA CRC error means the data between the drive and the motherboard has been corrupted). As soon as I changed it from this cable, the errors went away. I should have known they were too cheap to be good.

Pros
  • Good price
Cons
  • Fair

They work Computer accessories and peripherals

Faster speed than possible using my old cable. Easy to hook up when you know what you're doing. Also like an ending that was crooked. Update, backup transfer speed improved.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • No form required

1 out of 6 cables was broken

I installed these cables and my computer won't boot. It sat on the Windows loading screen and left me with a blank screen at best after the Preparing Automatic Repair screen. I ended up disabling two backup drives and the system booted fine. I checked, each plugged back in and one started and the other didn't. I ended up replacing the cable with the 6th in the pack and the system booted up again. The BIOS recognized the drive, but due to a bad connection, Windows didn't know what to do withโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors appeared

The cable is ready. for computer accessories and peripherals

These cables are so good they last. They even match the windings of my new power supply. I had no trouble connecting it to my computer. They are so cool and very well designed. I've been using them for a while now and have never had any problems with them. The price was fair and the ship was fast. I have no complaints so far and recommend trying them out. If you raise these babies, they will run longer and your computer will become even more efficient.

Pros
  • A special nylon braid makes the cable strong so that the cable does not break after prolonged bending.
Cons
  • Unfashionable
