🔌 Satco Products Frosted Shatter 120V Review

I may have bought the wrong bulb. I bought this to replace the heating bulb in our Great Northern Lincoln Popcorn Popper. Based on the reviews I figured it would work. The original lamp lasted 2 1/2 years. This took about 12 seconds.

My popcorn machine light went out and I panicked. I didn't know where to start looking. Revane was the first thing that came to mind, of course. I think I'm addicted to Revane. I looked up the type of my car and whalah....... PERFECT FIT and much brighter than the first light I had!

Not only does the product not heat up well (because of the coating), but it also doesn't have a long shelf life. Blown out after 3 weeks of use. I have since bought a popcorn bulb off Ebay and the similar site PopcornBulbs dot com which is uncoated and heats much better. Has lasted for over a year!

After searching the internet and local restaurant stores for the gold medal popcorn maker model I own (Fun Pop 2404) I ordered 2 packs of Satco 120 volt 50 watt light bulbs from Revain at a great price 2 bulbs. Local restaurant supply store Ace sells 1 Satco lightbulb for $13. The Satco lights I bought from Revain will do the job for me.

It was really difficult to find a replacement bulb for our Great Northern 6097 popcorn maker. None of the stores in our area have them. They only had LED bulbs. I could order one from the manufacturer's website but I'm cheap and this one was half the price and free shipping. This lamp was an exact replacement. Same size and shape. This lamp has some kind of rubberized coating that makes it shatterproof. Much better than the old lamp. Who wants broken glass in the popcorn. I can't comment on the
