💡 Satco S4751 175BR38 Medium Base LED Light Bulb Review

The previous lamp base was almost welded to the base. The new bulb is bright and warm. It takes so long that the person who buys this house if I sell it has to replace the lightbulb, then the longevity is fine. If I have to change the bulb again, not so good.

Works as expected. Lights up red/orange like all incandescent lamps. Not sure what all the negativity is about?. This is a 175 watt bulb in a Par38 wash size as opposed to the next 250 watt bulb in a BR40 size. I have a new exhaust fan with heat lamp capability and it doesn't accept BR40's but uses these PAR38 bulbs. They put out the heat, they keep the food warm. Again they work as they should!

I have to say the red Satco 175W bulbs we bought last winter are the worst product we've bought in a long time. So far we have used 250w bulbs but the chickens and quail we have now are older so we went with 175w bulbs. One bulb had the glass part falling out of the metal part and the second bulb just burned out, the first one we lost 80 chakars and quails the night we used it. I would rate these lamps a negative number if I could

These lamps are cheaper than heat lamps. They work well for a while and help you when it's cold outside and you need to keep your animals warm. But they burn out quickly, and if you unplug them and leave them for a while, whether you clean them or not, they fry when you plug them back in. The best thing to do is just plug them in and leave them alone for a month or so and replace them. You get 2 of these for the price and they last as long as an expensive one. Not happy with this one. Except that it takes forever to get here and pay more to get that prime. The metal part is bent, something rattles inside the bulb. It is most likely a piece of glass that broke off when the metal part was put on. I want to get a new subscription and cancel my Prime membership before I'm billed. I want to like this product. There are so few odd wattage lamps. I especially like the convex glass. Please send a good glass this time, because sooner or later it will be cold…
