Type of review

I bought a ceiling fan from a big store that Revain won't let me mention. There was no light for him. After a long search for brick and mortar stores, I found this at Revain. These bulbs work well. They are slightly larger than a night light but much brighter.

Pros
  • Item Size: Length: 3.00" Width: 1.00"
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Luminous flux is wrong. That's 288 lumens at 120v.

The product description says 2500 lumens, which seems too good to be true. 2500 lm / 40w would be 62.5lm/w which is over 9% luminous efficacy which I think is unrealistic for an incandescent bulb I bought a pair anyway as they were cheap and they aren't particularly bright Packaging says 288 lumens at 120v which is just over 1% light output I will probably return them and buy LED bulbs instead.

Pros
  • Included components: Satco S3347 Candelabra Light Finish, 3.00"
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Description is wrong!

Description - a mess! I thought I ordered 10 bulbs but only received 1. β€’ It says quantity 1 but reviewers said it's 10. β€’ The box size is wrong if it's only 1 bulb. The custom box size is 3 x 1 x 1 but the description says the box size is 3 x 3 x 4.4 which you think will hold 10 lightbulbs. β€’ The description says 25W, but that's not 40W.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Luminous flux is wrong. 288 lumens at 120v

The product description says 2500 lumens which seems too good to be true. 2500 lm / 40 W would be 62.5 lm/W, which corresponds to a light output of more than 9%, which I think is unrealistic for an incandescent lamp. I bought a pair anyway as they were cheap and they aren't particularly bright. The box says 288 lumens at 120V, which is just over 1% light output. I'll probably return them and buy LED bulbs instead.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • weak
