Good light but as mentioned in another review the base plate is easy to remove. The supplied base plate screws are too short to attach the base. Do yourself a favor and use 4 4-40 x 1/2" or 3/8" screws to attach the base instead of the included screws.

I needed to replace a bracket in my finished basement where the plastic case broke and the unit fell to the floor (3 years). I ordered a new one and when I opened the box it only had a spring on one side and it was missing on the other. Luckily, I was able to use the broken device's spring to get it working. Aside from the missing spring, the installation was very easy.

One of six mistakes resulting from our recent total renovation of our home. The nice thing was that it was delivered last year and it was easy to find the exact model. I assume that all of them will last the promised 10 years. hehe. Update 10/18/2019: Simply replace the 2nd of the six unsuccessfully placed in the conversion. Buy 2 S9315 as a backup as they no longer make this model, S9313.
