2 Stars Computer Accessories and Peripherals

This review is for a 4-port hub. Keep in mind that it doesn't necessarily charge connected devices (depending on what it's connected to). I have changed my previous rating from 3 to 2 stars. No wall adapter is supplied. And again, the ability to use multiple devices, rather than just charge them, depends on the power source. For example, Apple's standard USB wall outlet is insufficient to charge more than one device. For example, I need to buy a separate USB wall adapter to power/charge more…

Pros
  • Big Price
Cons
  • Long Delivery

Not that reliable. - Computers and accessories

This review is for the 4 port version. I have several other Satechi products, so based on past experience I chose Satechi when it came time to choose a USB hub. Everything is fine for the most part. After a day or so I have to unplug and plug my devices back in because they all stop working in the middle of a computer session, which is frustrating. Once you've connected your cables, it doesn't stay on the table; it is too light and lifts or slides. I think this can be fixed with velcro so I'll…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

I like the angle and although it's bulky the girth helps keep it in one place. One disappointment is that the 3 charging ports are the ONLY charging ports and as most things I charge via USB I also need to connect apps to my computer making it less than ideal. Of course, the remaining seven ports are also loaded, so it's not the end of the world.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Style 90

Very good center, except for one.

I bought this hub to replace some of my old, obsolete and smaller ones. It works exactly as advertised and is very fast with a USB 3.0 port. However, the manufacturers did not take into account that some have the main computer / processor under the table or on the floor. The cable that comes with the device is only 3 meters long. It kind of kills the point of having a hub near your actual workstation when you can't reach it because the main cable is so short. I had to buy an extra 6' cable for…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

com and thought it might be a good product. I was wrong

So I read the review on Macnn.com and thought it might be a good product. I was wrong. Powered ports feed only. So this is NOT a 10-port hub, it's a 7-port hub with charging station. Powered ports don't allow data transfer from the hub to the computer, so it was a waste of time. I have gaming peripherals that do NOT work with the hub. I have Logitech G510, G13 and G700s. All of these peripherals will not work through the hub. There is not enough energy to power these items. So when I boot up…
