I didn't know how to wrap my hair to style this hat but it lasted all night. My hair was not knotted the next morning. And it was kind of sleek and added volume to the front of my hair. I didn't wash it before use to see if it bleeds and the pink and gray hat didn't stain my white pillows at all. Very happy with this purchase and did exactly what was advertised. To prevent my hair from rubbing and falling out.

The bonnet was a bit tight and didn't fit most of my hair. I would recommend buying this cap if you have thin hair or if you want to wear it when your hair is in a tie. But otherwise the cap was very smooth and silky and moisturized my hair. I posted a reference photo showing how thick and big my hair is. After removing the cap (when my hair was loose) my hair stayed compact.

What happened to all those people who call it a shower cap? Anyway, it's cute and as advertised. But don't take it if you have a big head and lots of hair. It's quite small, so you have to fight. I love that I can adjust the tie for the perfect fit. But when I stretched the tie to fit my head, it's not long enough to tie a loop - just a skimpy knot. No way would I be able to attach the pigtails to it.

Love this shower cap! The self tie aspect is very helpful, I am very tired of buying hats that are advertised as non slip but still slip off at night. This one still moves a bit, but you can really control its density. Also, it has an elastic band at the back so there is enough freedom to pull it over your head without having to wear it every night! The reversible aspect isn't that useful, I mostly leave black on the outside and light gray on the inside because it looks best that way.
