That's a tricky thing! I've routed 250 feet of it and it's definitely well built. I had a bit of a hard time "taking off" which is to be expected with such a thick and durable material. I have every confidence that this "direct burial" wire will last underground for decades and decades.

I'm a pro and got this Prime as a last resort. I was a little worried but it turned out to be very durable. It's very flexible at the connection endpoint and you'll have to trim it a lot. Otherwise, if I don't have a regular outlet, I don't hesitate to buy it for about half the price of my regular supplier.

I applaud the thick plastic insulation but this stuff is about as thick as the drip line. Pull the wire off the spool and it will wind up. I tried to stretch, hoping to straighten the bend, no. I suppose if you pin it down it will eventually stretch, but don't try to make a right angle without a heat gun. it's gonna be tough

Great deal! The outer coating was horrible to work with, hard and difficult to remove. It was probably more our skills and available tools than the product itself. We used coax strippers to remove the outer coating to get to the wires. We used this for our animated light display and it works GREAT! We live in Washington and it TOTALLY copes with our rainy weather!

Excellent product! Received last week and installed in my backyard with two Remote Rock speakers. Living in Phoenix and my yard is gravel and the summers are hot, I was looking for a product strong enough to withstand these conditions. This product will definitely get the job done as the durable coating that surrounds the four speaker wires is thicker and tougher. My only issue was that I wished it was a shorter length instead of the 250ft and 500ft rolls.

I've laid a lot of underground cables. It is often difficult to work with him. This is to be expected with a cable wrapped in a rigid protective layer. This stuff is right in the middle. The protective layer seems strong enough, but not so hard that you can't fish it out or bend it a little. I would NOT trust this to withstand intense UV exposure in high temperature areas.
