Although the laces are a bit odd. They have some kind of tip. Before tying them, squeeze the connector by tightening the laces, then tie them over the connector. If you don't like it, I think you can just remove the lanyard connector and just use it like regular laces.

I was hoping that these shoes would loosen up and soften a bit as I wear them. You are not. I ended up replacing them with softer shoes from the same brand. (Shoes Saucony Grid Cohesion.) These shoes are a little stiff and the back of the ankle rubbed on me like women's heels. They may be suitable for those who are looking for narrow hard shoes.

I have no idea how or why these shoes were reduced to $27. snapped up the purple a's as they fell in retail price. I can't believe I was able to get the color scheme I wanted after months of holding back. great stuff very comfortable and versatile shoes.

This was my 4th pair of Sauconys and the previous 3 fit perfectly although they stretched a bit. This took about 1-3 times. They didn't stretch at all and are now too dirty to return. I ended up giving them to someone else. They look and probably feel great, but order half a size up. Especially if you base your size on other Saucony shoes.
