Needed in place of mine. I thought it was decent quality but it doesn't grind as well and leaves big chunks. I'll try a few newer pods and then we'll see.

This pepper mill looked great the first time I used it, but after that it stopped grinding peppers altogether. It seems that the gears work, but the pepper does not come out. Waste of money and now I can't return it because I used it.

Easy to use, especially when cooking. Another advantage is that you can change the hotness of a pepper or other spice. I bought this for a man in his 90s who was complaining of difficulty using a standard pepper grinder. He was so pleased with the aesthetics of this grinder and loved the ease of use. Since he prefers very fine grinds, he was particularly excited when he discovered the range of pepper grinds. Great for people with arthritis!
