High quality cotton. I also like that the lining on the mattress isn't slippery; however, it is gauze-like. I don't know durability. I washed it before use. It turned out to be short for a large double bed at a good 6 inches on either side. I just hope it doesn't show up. The hem of the pleated dust is twisted and twisted, so it takes much longer to iron. I used a spray bottle and soaked the hem; then she unrolled the hem with her hands.
