Great comfort, good climbing shoe but wears out quickly from

I really like these shoes, but I'm only giving four stars because they wear out very quickly (less than three months of indoor climbing 2-4 times a week). Part of this may be due to the type of climbing I do, a lot of ARC training that involves climbing relatively easy levels for 45 minutes to an hour at a time. Pros
  • Vibram XS Edge Rubber | XS Edge rubber offers excellent grip and is strong, durable and durable - perfect for climbers learning the nuances of foot placement.

Good, comfortable multi-step shoe for those looking for something that isn't too aggressive and can handle multiple steps without discomfort. I have very wide feet (8.5 EEE) and they are quite tight around the edges in the toe box, but the leather upper stretches. Not the stickiest rubber outsole, but you get what you pay for! I expect the sole will be needed for a few more walks but I've trained these shoes for over 10-11b with 8 pitches (40-50m length) being the longest continuous run in it…

I bought them to match my sneaker size and they were initially a comfortable fit, but after wearing them they may have gone up a half size. Now they are soft on my toes and I can wear them between climbs if I want without feeling loose while climbing. The sole lasted 3 months before reaching the edge which was average for me considering my…
