I am a fan of Mrs. Meyers but this product has a very bad smell. The glass jar and lid are nice, and the fact that it's soy leaves less smoke when it burns, but lavender just doesn't smell like it. Many cheap candles like apples, cookies, perfume smell bad when cheaply made and that smell is just plain toxic.

I bought 2 sets of lavender candles. They smell like the brand's version of lavender. If you've used any of their other lavender products, you know exactly what I mean. Does it smell like my organic lavender essential oils? No drop. Does it smell just like a visit to a lavender farm? No drop. Is this terrible news? no Will I order this fragrance again? Probably no. They aren't strong either and you would never know they were lit.

Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day with a lavender scent and a 35 hour burn time is my favorite candle of all time! Period. The smell is absolutely amazing, it makes the whole house smell great with just one candle. I have a pretty strong taste for Good Sense and have used everything from Bed Bath & Beyond, Bath & Body Works to Yankee Candle Company candles and wax. I first found these candles to be a cheaper alternative to other lavender soy candles. Since then I have bought a new one every 2-3 months and continue to enjoy it. Some reviews state that they don't smell like lavender, but I doubt they do - they're no different than the lavender essential oil I have. So I've bought these candles more than once and both times I really liked them (although the smells were slightly different between different purchases). The main complaint is that 20% of the candles are useless - they waste about an inch of the candle. The wicks do not lie at the bottom of the glass, so do not burn through to the end (see photo). This candle burns cleanly and smells wonderfully pure of lavender! That being said I gave this product 3 stars because it didn't last long (this candle was only used for about 2.5 weeks) and that's it! Actually I should have been given about 35 hours of time which I would burn as stated.
