I have been a regular Schick Quattro razor user for quite some time. My old razor handle was 10, maybe 15 years old. It was metal, not plastic, very pretty, durable, and solid. These razors shave very badly. The woman shaved her legs and she had stray hairs that these razors didn't cut. I thought she was doing something wrong, so I tried shaving her hair off randomly; Nothing! I figured I could at least try shaving my face with the 4 cartridges that came with it; Terrible! That annoys me. I have been using this precision razor for years. A while back I couldn't find mine so I had to use a men's razor. I finally decided to go back and I'm so disappointed. When I first started using them I could literally only use one razor for about 6 months or more. Now that I'm back with them, the razor feels light and cheap. Something has changed. Not sure what it is, but it's NOT the Schick Quattro I've known and loved for years. Almost a cheap scammer. The original Quattro would have given me the silkiest, soft, baby-smooth skin with minimal scratches and cuts. Guess I was one of the lucky ones who didn't get a fake from China? I had a Schick Quattro for about ten years and decided to try something new so I bought a Gillette Venus Platinum of sorts. It was just awful. It hurt when the blades scratched my skin, it was heavy and it cut me! So after a year of trying different woods I finally ordered this new Schick Quattro and I'm so glad I did. Close shave, no pain and no cuts! I don't know what happened to this Venus, but I will never go back!
