Excellent quality, excellent product

The only way to go if you do embroidery. They work much better than standard needles and I don't see much of a difference on my machine, at least not between this company's basic and gold brands, which are twice the price. I would definitely recommend her. I use an older model embroidery machine and it's a basic model but it does the job well. This is the Brother PE-400 model.

Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Schmetz sewing machine needles - THE BEST!

I have been sewing for over 50 years and only buy Schmetz needles. They are made so precisely for every sewing function you need: embroidery, stretch, microtex, versatile and more. I have many machines from Singer Featherweights to Berninas and only use their quality product. These needles work very well on my Viking embroidery machine and make beautiful stitches.

Cons
  • Socket required

Best Needles for Embroidery and General Sewing

Schmetz are the only needles I use in my embroidery and sewing machines (I have 12 sewing machines) so I know a thing or two about sewing. German steel is a great theft! I have tried others but these are "my" favorites and the ones I recommend to my clients and quilting and sewing students. I use embroidery needles for patchwork and general sewing. I've never had a bad needle, and when it broke I forgot to move the needle position 1/4 inch to center, for example.

Cons
  • Big and bulky
