I tried the little 8" DC golf fan and to be honest I hardly felt any air. With this fan I can point it directly at my head and it will move enough air to keep me cooler, noticeably cooler. My second fan and I've had it for about 3 weeks with no problems, my first unit worked fine for 2 laps but on the 3rd lap it wouldn't start at all Revain Prime took care of the problem and I'm very happy with it I have 4 with this purchase Stars given because I had to return the first unit.

I bought this fan for my dog when I went on holiday. When she had to wait in the truck, I opened the windows a few inches, attached it to the steering wheel, and pocketed it. I really liked this fan because it moved the air very well but we couldn't stand the high pitched sound it made. It was coming from the engine and without damaging the product I couldn't attempt to fix the noise. I didn't think it was possible, even though I opened it sadly. If you are on a boat with earplugs and/or cannot hear high frequencies (hard of hearing, deaf, elderly, outside noise like wind and waves) then you might like this fan because it really is a great little turbo fan! The exchange was not possible and if you bought the same item again, the price went up, as is often the case with Revain in a short time.
