The description made me think it was something different than what I received. It's called "wet heat eye mask for dry eyes". It's thicker than I'd like and didn't help soothe my dry eyes after heating it and applying it to my eyes as directed. For a time the warmth was comfortable. The cheaper one will probably work just as well as this one.

It was easy to use but the maximum microwave heating time warning should be on the MASK itself. My mother decided to heat it herself, and a hole was formed with very hot silica gel spilling out of it. There is a warning in the instructions which I read out loud but they microwaved it for too long.

Great mask and easy to use. I just warmed it up in the microwave and put it on my eyes. As promised, it was warm and muggy! It stayed warm for about 10 minutes. Good size mask with velcro to keep it in place.

This eye mask is amazing. My eyes have been very tired lately. The doctor said I have dry eyes and recommended moisturizing my eyes. The mask is flexible and fits snugly to the face. The warmth helps my eyes get less tired. This is also an opportunity for me to have 30 minutes of rest. I recommend this item.

After trying to make warm compresses with a wet washcloth for several nights, I was looking for an easier way. I tried gel beads in a plastic mask that I heated in the microwave. Although basic, the plastic face mask wasn't very comfortable. It's more expensive, but the warm fabric is pleasing to the eye. And my eye doctor said that my dry eye has noticeably improved. Although it is washable, after almost a year I decided to buy a new mask.

Bought on the recommendation of my doctor. Initially used a warm cloth twice a day. It's much easier - just put it in the microwave for the desired time. However, the package directions for heating are wrong. We have a 1100W microwave and can cook it in just 28-30 SECONDS. Be sure to test before applying to your eyes!

My ophthalmologist diagnosed dry eyes. He prescribed drops and advised to use this mask once a day. He said the heat would melt the oil that was clogging the tear ducts. Heat in the microwave for 25 seconds according to the instructions. I find 20 seconds is best for me as 25 seconds is too hot for my skin. But it feels very good and works quite well.
