The armor is too low.

Fit is short. Armor sits low. I tried two different sizes - same problem. The first photo shows where the armor sits while standing (below the knee). The second photo shows where the armor sits in the seated position - it only covers half of the kneecap. This is with the armor attached with velcro for the highest possible position. That is not right. What's the point of buying armored breeches if the armor doesn't protect the areas it's supposed to protect? I am returning the second pair. One…

They survived the crash at 75 mph!

I've driven them about 500 miles and they are great! While I haven't tested its true potential, the quality and finish is superb, not to mention the navy blue version looks great. Thanks very much! Update 10/10/2016: I hit a piece of wood 4x4 at 75 mph and fell in these jeans, leather jacket, gloves and helmet. These jeans have withstood the harsh reality of a motorcycle accident! I am so thankful for the quality and craftsmanship of these jeans that I recommend them to all my cycling friends…

Pad bushings are misaligned, tight, shorter than expected, and wrong color.

I bought the 38 because I needed extra space in case I decide to wear thermals or add knee pads. I'm 6'2, 220, muscular and wear a 34 in most jeans and some 36's but these 38's fit more than 36's in other jeans and they were a lot shorter than expected. Also, the knee pads are below the knees and look more like shin pads, so I removed them. So far not impressed with the fit and placement of the pad inserts. The final nail in the coffin: I bought a washable color and they sent me navy instead…

Feels like legs are covered with blankets

These pants have a couple of significant issues. I'm not new to Kevlar jeans/breeches and this was a big disappointment. 1.) Color: The product photos looked more like washed jeans, however, they came in bright blue with bleached front legs and buttocks. . Looks absolutely ridiculous. 2.) Size: People said they were a bit small so I went for a 34 as my last pair was a 34 as well as my regular jeans. I've worn these pants for forty years. The waist cannot be buckled without creases. Legs float…

Detachable buttons - Trousers and Chaps

These jeans feel sturdy and thick as intended. Very comfortable, although one of them doesn't seem to fit properly on my bike's tank and I often end up adjusting the left pant leg. Two issues for me: #1. These jeans are very slippery and offer almost no grip on the seat or tank. Highly recommend if you are on a road bike and considering side pads for tank grips. #2 and the most annoying part of them; Button. My button fell apart almost EVERY TIME. It just falls apart, and I've even tried…

Baggy, heavy shin guards for $170.

I'm 6 feet tall, weigh 200 pounds, my waist is usually 34 and 36 is perfect for my waist. The knee pads cover my shins, not my knees. Look at my photo, they seem to be designed for people with very long and thick hips. The top of the knee pad pocket starts about 21 inches from the top and 8 inches from the bottom of the legs. This means that the pants are designed for people whose waist to knee length is 2.5 times longer than ankle to knee length. Unfortunately, I'm human and my legs work…

Good quality breeches

First impressions I'm glad I ordered a size up like most imports today they run small. The approximate measured length is 31 inches, so they can be 32 inches when stretched. Not sure about the reflective element on the inside as some may not need to roll up their pants. I rolled mine up about an inch, looks a bit fun with the mesh lining. visible, but the lining is good. I had Sliders 4.0 pants that were fraying. I would order another pair but they are no longer made. Scorpions are not as loose

  • Hands free

  • Very expensive

Good and not so good

So I'm torn. What's good: - Amazing price - Protection in all the right places - Pockets to protect hips and knees - It's a regular pair of (baggy) jeans and they're just great! - It fits perfectly over the boot. Not very good: - The knee pad for the protective pads is too low. It had velcro on the inside so I just attached the velcro to the knee pads and let them hold up a bit higher. Velcro knee pads (back of velcro) scratches knee when riding. I would recommend using some sort of layer under

Great Price Motorcycle Jeans

If you have a borderline waist size, order a size up. I usually have 34's but I went for 36's and they are tight as if they were my regular 34's. I'm athletically built and I like jeans that are a bit wider than just "straight", that's where my problems with these jeans lie. Otherwise they are worth the price, especially for the protection they offer. I bought 3DO CE 2 armor for thighs and knees. The hip pads have a nice feel but add some stiffness to the overall fit around the waist and as…
