terrible rating. Waste of money $$$

It costs twice as much as a generic fake. Even after the update it says this is not a supported Apple product. When I plugged headphones or the headphone jack into the radio, the feedback was terrible. Waste $$$

The device works perfectly for me!

At first I didn't notice the volume control on the unit and there are no instructions, but once I figured it out I'm very pleased! It's a black device and where I'm using it is dark, so I felt a bit silly when I found it out! A bit pricey but from what I've seen the cheapest ones are just that! Get what you pay for!

Low Volume, High Response

I bought the USB-C version for my s20 to charge while listening to music. It emits a high-pitched ringtone when connected to the network, even when the phone is not connected. The volume is very low and the sound quality is not very good. My single function adapter is way better and even Bluetooth sounded better than this one. I'm sending it back and will keep looking. Also of note is that the connector on this one is quite large and won't fit without stretching my phone case.

WARNING! DO NOT download Scosche Play.

ATTENTION! DO NOT download the Scosche Play app or attempt to update the firmware following the instructions on the insert! It worked great right out of the box, but when I downloaded the app and tried updating the firmware, the headphone jack stopped working! The device will continue to play and pause music and adjust volume, but only through the phone's speaker. Whether headphones are connected. I bought two more and they work great. I will not try to update the firmware with any of them!

Great product/great sound/worth it

So I bought one from the store 2 years ago and it has expired. I've tried other brands and none of them compare to coming out that sounds reasonable. I understand the complaints about reviews in other reviews, which I didn't experience in my first. However, when you connect it to the phone, wait for the phone to come back to normal / install / accept the plugin (e.g. 5 seconds). Then play music from anywhere. If you try to play music before the phone is connected, you will get a feedback. Now…

Fills a key niche for in-car music listening with an iOS device. Only issue is durability

Nobody else makes this type of accessory so you kind of have to go for this one. However, it fills an important need - it allows you to listen to audio from your iOS device with a Lightning output to your vehicle's AUX input. For that he is amazing. Strange things will happen to you from time to time, like a deafening high-pitched beep. This is usually fixed by disconnecting and reconnecting your phone. After a while these things eventually break. More and more it doesn't work when you connect…
