Not many options so choose this

I got this for a 1987 Ford F150. The installation didn't go as well as I had hoped, but it works. Pliers are best for trimming the tongues, check before rounding as the plastic is a bit brittle.

Pros
  • Easy to install. No special tools are required. Includes step by step instructions
Cons
  • Crumpled

This item has been recommended. However,

I needed a modern radio that was fitted to a 1987 Ford F250. There was nothing to protect the radio. After a little research, this article was recommended to me. However, these are just plastic parts. To my delight it fitted perfectly and allowed me to complete the installation of the radio.

Pros
  • allows you to install a new aftermarket stereo system from the factory.
Cons
  • Upgradable.

Worked great in my '93 YJ Jeep

I only had a double lug ring after trimming all the unused lugs and spacers. But it turned out well, it could have been better. This is pretty much what I expected from a kit that has been used on many cars from '75 to '96. I just want someone to make a nice metal bracket like the one I removed from my standard stereo.

Pros
  • Backed by Scosche Lifetime Warranty and Tech Support
Cons
  • There's New Competitors
