    Best kit for this model I've ever had

    Ok, I usually take the gauge, it was "used" available a lot around. It assembles well and I've used the decorative ring around the stereo that came with the kit, with some clearance all the way around, but it looks great! I recommend this kit, its quality exceeded my expectations and it was very easy to assemble and install.

    NOT required for head units with DIN screw holes on the side

    This is NOT required for head units with DIN screw holes on the side as the head unit fits in a standard frame and you can keep the standard drawer hole with a door. (I installed a Kenwood KDC-BT762HD which has DIN mounting holes on the left and right side of the head unit which perfectly matched the OEM radio frame. If you install another head unit without DIN mounting holes I am sure this the case will work fine.

    Works well overall good for cars and car electronics

    I agree that this installation kit seems a little cheap but then again it is cheap. In the end it worked fine. I also agree with some reviewers who say it lacks rear support and that it's far from ideal. It's not perfect, so using a two-din stereo isn't a bad idea. But I got a lot for a din so I went for it. Using the metal tabs on the secondary stereo installation wiring harness, it appears to be securely attached. There is no rear support, but hopefully it will work out over time. I think the

    Great First Install Kit

    This kit was perfect for installing a Pioneer Digital Media Receiver (Pioneer MVH-X380BT) in my 2002 Accord. This was my first experience installing an aftermarket stereo and this product was an absolute must. The kit fit my dash perfectly, looks great (see picture) and was easy to use for someone who has never installed a stereo before.     So I read the description of what fits your car and it says LX and DX and I have an Ex v6 so I probably should have taken that into account. Either way, it was a good plastic for my car because it didn't look too cheap or flashy. It was very flexible, but it took a lot of effort to break it. So it fit my car perfectly until I screwed it on and tried to reattach the dashboard. It doesn't turn back. I spent two and a half hours assembling and fitting everything and finally it "fits" but there is…

    As others have said this is a very cheap product and I do not recommend it at all. The only good thing I can say about it is that I finally managed to squeeze it into my dashboard and squeeze everything else around it, but that's about it. I had to clamp the front of the dash hard to screw it in after installing that stupid bracket and the box that fills the space just below the radio doesn't fit at all. I had to push it really hard into that spot, breaking the little tabs on the mount in the…

    I have to admit that I didn't read the reviews before buying. I would like to have. I saw it was 4 1/2 stars so I wasn't worried. How it got 4 1/2 stars I don't know. As mentioned in some reviews, the instructions recommend a metal corner bracket, which is not included. I went to a hardware store and bought a 1 1/2 inch bracket and installed it to support the radio.
