So I have to admit I didn't read the reviews before buying. I would like to have. I saw it was 4 1/2 stars so I wasn't worried. How it got 4 1/2 stars I don't know. As mentioned in some reviews, the instructions recommend a metal corner bracket, which is not included. I went to a hardware store and bought a 1 1/2 inch bracket and installed it to support the radio. I then went to put the box under the radio and as others have mentioned it didn't want to go in and it took quite a while to put it back in place. Luckily I didn't break the tabs using this thing. He also does not have the opportunity to screw the radio to the kit. The instructions say to bend the protrusions on the body of the radio outward to keep it from falling out. Truth? After finally getting it set up for the day and wanting to remove the bezel on my radio, I realized I couldn't! The trim ring that came with the kit is too tight and my bezel requires it to be slid up a bit and then away from the dash to get it all the way out. So when I got home I had to disassemble everything and fit the trim ring that came with the radio. I love that the one that comes with the kit looks so much better as it blends in with the rest of the kit, but going somewhere where I want to remove the bezel I can't. That's the main reason I didn't like the kit, other things were annoying but I could deal with it. I don't like how it looks with the trim ring that came with the radio. I ended up ditching the ring that came with the radio and am contemplating returning the set and trying the subway. I just hate that I have to deal with putting everything back and then taking everything back off the machine.
