UPDATED: I bought it back but this batch has a terrible smell. It's a little "fishy," but it's definitely a chemical smell. I have no idea what it could be but I've opened several of the three packs and they all have this smell. I've bought them many times and never heard them smell like that. It's not as rough as the blue sponge, so more effort is required on tougher stains like cast iron. The sponge's cellulose base also doesn't have the same rebound as blue sponges.
