I usually buy Uline tape to wrap my load. I chose this one because of the fast shipping, the brand name and the fact that it says 'commercially available' so I expected it to be a very sticky tape. However, the tape is not sticky at all. I can stick it on a piece of paper and then remove it immediately without damaging the paper. I just had to use what I know.

I thought this tape would be as good as clear packaging tape but the adhesive is pretty weak. I don't usually get the clear plastic strap off when it's on the packaging, but this "commercial" look peels off very easily. Not to say it's not sticky at all, but I wouldn't be sure if the tape got wet and possibly ripped from the packaging. I will not use commercial shipping tape or HD Clear tape.

This tape is significantly thicker than many other tapes of its kind. You can really feel the difference, although it is actually microscopic. I've used other bands and this one is definitely stiffer meaning it doesn't bend or twist as easily as the other bands. This is good for many shipping, packaging, and sealing needs, but not all.
