The scent is pleasant, but somewhat intrusive in the soul. The texture is creamy like a lotion. Initially, my usage level was a bit scattered. It worked. As I started using it more consistently, I saw better results. I have noticed that my beard is softer and less itchy. In the spirit of transparency, I also use a drop of beard oil to also combat itching, softness and follicle growth.

goes a little far. It smells great and I wasn't expecting to be impressed, but when you literally have your beard under your nose the smell is a treat, especially when wearing a mask. It's not good for beard grooming/styling, but it keeps the beard soft and doesn't make it greasy, which is something I don't like about using beard oils.

I didn't really like beards when the original came out in an amber bottle. I have to say this is the best smelling and most effective conditioner I have ever tried. He smells amazing. If you like woody, sweet and classic barbershop scents, you will love this scent. I was skeptical ordering this as Caspian seems to be the only seller of this particular bottle on Amazon and there didn't seem to be many written reviews to go through. I really like the ingredients and love the smell. I really enjoy keeping my beard hydrated and soft, so I use lots of healthy and natural oils and products in my routine to help with that. I can really feel after a few uses if a product is doing a lot for me. This beard conditioner didn't stick well to my beard while I was in the shower so I had to reapply it to make sure the conditioner was there. Scotch Porter had the best air conditioners, HAD. When they changed the formula and the packaging, they also lost the quality of the product. It's still better than probably 70% of the air conditioners, but it's no longer elite. It's ok for the money but there are better ones. I will not buy again, was a loyal SP customer.

Excellent beard conditioner! I got it on the recommendation of a friend who said it would cure dandruff on his beard. Improves the texture and manageability of my beard and my wife *loves* the scent. The most glowing review I have ever received on a cologne or beard product.

With a beard like mine you need a good conditioner that will prevent tangles at the roots of a longer beard and impossibility of styling. When I first tried the trial beard pack which included Spray Conditioner, Conditioner Balm, Modeling Balm and Conditioner I was blown away! My beard responded immediately to the formula these products are made from. I can deal with it, it doesn't get that dry, it just doesn't sag, smells good and feels great. Couldn't be happier!

New formula/packaging - absolute rubbish. Should never have changed from the original formula. It has no perceptible odor and no perceptible conditioning effect. The original in the amber bottle was by far the best conditioner on the market. This will be the last time I buy a Scott Porter.
