Excellent Quality Leather, light weight (2 to 3 ounce). This lot: Approximately 12 Square Feet Mixed Cowhide Pieces, soft, supple and lightweight. JUMBO pieces; all pieces One Square Foot or bigger (mostly a lot bigger)- We always send a nice selection, plus extra- see picture for good idea of typical size pieces. Color: Random Assortment. Will contain some black, the rest mostly earthtones, shades of brown, tan, grey, burgundy, other colors. Perfect for any upholstery application, cases and small bags, book covers, leather garment trims, fringes, chokers, bookmarks, handle wraps, doll clothing- and a thousand other uses. Picture shows a portion of the lot; actual lot is a full 12 square feet, usually 9 to 11 pieces depending on size.

Good selection, quality parts.

The box I received was smaller than I expected. I weighed my choice and it was 2.5 pounds. All the pieces I received were approximately 15" x 9", give or take a few inches. The weight is light and suitable for a standard sewing machine. The choice of colors was good, mostly neutral and varied. Brown/black/green/taupe. The price is a bit high. I can buy a piece of leather at the local store for ten dollars a pound. This equates to about $14 per pound. The pieces rolled up well and had no stainsโ€ฆ

Great Variety and Colors for Small Projects

I've had bad experiences with mixed leather bags in the past so my expectations were low. This experience was different. First of all, I was impressed by the speed of delivery. I ordered on Wednesday and the package was in my mailbox on Friday morning. Next comes the size and variety of parts. I was surprised but very happy when I pulled the leather out of the packaging and unrolled it on the countertop. There's one red, two blues, a few blacks, and lots of browns. There are also differentโ€ฆ

Most of the parts were beautiful leather, just what I was looking for.

Most items were beautiful leather and just what I was looking for. One piece and half of the other piece were of poor quality and I couldn't use them for what I was planning to do (e.g. bookbinding). This would work great for something else and I just need to find something else to use these parts for. Not so hot what's up. It's still a really high quality find. I'm really excited about the variety of colors and especially the one light gray piece in my package. The textures and colors of theโ€ฆ
