Scratching Indoor YOUMI Scratcher Natural Review

Bought this to distract my cats from the new couch. This isn't a complete answer, but cats really like this scratching post and are much less tempted to try the furniture.

Our cats didn't even have to rub catnip on this scratching post to encourage them to use it. They were immediately fascinated and use it constantly. We have several posts and they prefer this one. They don't mess around with the hump and little ball, but they don't scratch the furniture, so it's ok. I already bought another one when they rip this one up.

This is a very cute cat green cactus. Assembly was easy with all the parts and tools (hex key) provided. The only part I didn't like was the base. It's MDF, it's ok, but the MDF is divided into two parts. Most likely for a more compact package. But then it has to be held in place with a large washer and screw, making it not as strong as if it were a single piece. As soon as it was collected and placed on the ground, I forgot about it. And the cats got used to it quickly and happily!

I'm not exaggerating when I say this was probably the easiest thing I've ever had to "build". You just screw the pieces into the base (almost anything can be done by hand) and you're done! Must have taken 2 minutes. It looks very cute and the cats immediately ran towards him curiously. He did exactly what he was supposed to do, but looks a lot more interesting than the usual cat tower. as a good place to reach and hit the ball.
